Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Shoreham from about 2.30-4.30. The good bits:
- Seeing fellow forumites; Gareth, Billyboy, Rod. Saw Charlie, but he was
always on the water when I was on the beach
- Getting some tips from Ant
- First time out with summer suit and it was fine
- I tried quite a lot of loops
And the bad bits:
- my loops aren't loops, they are catapults and I'm not making progress
despite lots of attempts
- the sea state was as dull as dull can be. I barely found any ramps at
all
- losing my car key out on the water, finding out that the RAC don't tow
you more than 10 miles home and then having to call out the Home Guard to
bring the spare.
Not the best day, and yet as I drove off it looked like the first proper
sunny windy afternoon. Bummer. But at least I got to sail a bit.
